Pre-registration for METROCON 2013
Please read all this information carefully so that your registration process will be completed correctly. We don't want anyone to miss out on the fun due to a simple mistake.

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS - READ CAREFULLY!
METROCON pre-registration is at MyConsOnline.com.
The pre-registration process for METROCON is very simple: sign up, login in, choose your ticket and then
pay for it with PayPal. Don't worry, we've put up screen shots to help you along with it.

Step 1: If you do not have an account go to
MyConsOnline.com.
If you already have an account, DO NOT make another one! Just login using the login sidebar on
METROCON ventions.com or go to
MyConsOnline.com
and sign in...THEN proceed to step 3. |
Step 2: Click on "Sign Up" and fill out the signup form. |
Step 3: After signing in, you will automatically be directed to your "My Page". You can also get there by clicking on "My Info". |

Step 4: Click on "Select Conventions". You can click on the name of the convention to pull up information on it on the right, and also select it as a favorite. Click on the "SELECT" button next to a convention to select it as the current convention you are viewing. |
Step 5: After selecting METROCON , you will be directed to the convention's home page. |
Step 6: Click on "Buy Tickets" on the side menu. You will be able to see all the available tickets. (tickets shown are only an example. Don't get your hopes up :P) Click on "Add to Cart" on the tickets you want and then proceed to buy them with PayPal. |

Step 7: You will receive an email from METROCON with your TRANSACTION ID information. You will also be able to log in any time and get your ticket information by clicking on "My Tickets". |
Once you sign up in the system, you will never have to sign up again. You will also be able to select work times, create panels, or enter online contests that METROCON has available. What is a Tier?
We get this question all the time so we thought we'd try to answer
it so that there is no confusion. Simply put, the Tier is the dates from
which a ticket is available at a certain price. The lower the Tier
number, the lower the price of the ticket you want to buy. It's
incentive to buy your ticket early before prices go up. That's it!
TRANSACTION ID and picking up your ticket:
We track your registration by the Transaction ID generated from Paypal. METROCON will send an official HTML email to you with a PayPal Transaction ID of your ticket purchase as well as the items and cost. Every year, we get tons of emails and phone calls asking us to provide replacement emails with Transaction IDs on them due to people accidentally deleting their emails, their computers dying, or being eaten by the next sentient computer virus heck bent on taking over the digital world. MyConsOnline.com keeps track of your ticket purchases so that if through some unfortunate circumstance you do happen to lose your email, all you have to do is log in, and go to My Tickets, select the one you purchased and then simply print it out again. You'll never have to worry about not having your Transaction ID again and our registration department at the convention won't have to worry about turning someone away because they didn't have it when they came to the convention.
Please make absolutely sure that you print out the aforementioned official METROCON 2013 receipt we send to you (make sure it has the Transaction ID on it) and then present it at registration at METROCON to claim your Pass(s). You MUST have the receipt with you to claim your tickets ( no excuses since now we know that people can log in any time and re-print them if needed ).
If you have purchased multiple passes, please pick all of them up at once at registration when you go to the convention. You are responsible for distributing them to your group (we will not give them out separately).
If you have bought a ticket for someone else using paypal (child, friend), the name of the purchaser will show up in our database. As long as the person has the Transaction ID with them, they will be able to pick up their pass without the purchaser being present.
Please Note:
Only weekend passes are available for pre-registration. Single day
tickets will be available for sale at the convention.
Payment:
We only accept pre-registration payments ONLY by PayPal.
We DO NOT accept any mail in payments! Please don't try!
At the convention, you
may purchase passes using cash, check or money order. An ATM is
available at the convention center.
Refund/Transfer Policy
NOTE: We do not offer refunds. If you can't attend METROCON after you've pre-registered you may transfer your registration to another person.
Simply have both parties sign the receipt and bring it along with valid
identification to the registration booth.
A METROCON 2013 weekend registration covers all three days, panels, workshops, events, performances, contests, and a host of other activities. The single day registration only covers activities on that day.
Group Ticket pricing and payment:
Group ticket and pricing is available online at MyConsOnline.com. Follow
the procedure above to get to the ticketing and then you'll be able to calculate
your own bulk ticket price for tickets that have bulk pricing available.

An additional 7% sales tax is already included in the at the door price.
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Children 5 and under: free (with parent with paid registration)
The payment methods for registering at METROCON 2013 at the door will be credit (VISA, MASTERCARD), cash, money order or cashiers check.
NOTE: No personal checks will be accepted at the door.

METROCON reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Anyone creating a nuisance or disturbance shall be asked to leave without refund. We enforce this policy to ensure a professional environment for our patrons.
