METROCON is happy to announce that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn will be joining our all-star guest line up for 2012! Famous for her role as Major Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Mary Elizabeth has both performed with and directed some of the biggest names in voice acting! Be sure to catch her at METROCON to get an autograph, or just to shake her hand. This is an opportunity you do NOT want to miss!

UPDATE! Due to a scheduling conflict with MOSI, we have had to change one of the days of our auditions! The January 14 audition day has been moved to Saturday, January 28, 2012. Please be aware - there are no longer auditions on January 14!

Returning for a third time will be KellyJane and TealPirate of Parle Productions! Hosting several of your favorite panels, as usual, they were thrilled to come back and be surrounded by all of you for yet another METROCON!
For his first time at METROCON, get a warm welcome ready for Richard Epcar - the talented voice behind some of the most influential characters in anime and video games, including Batou in the Ghost in the Shell series, Xemnas/Xehanort/Ansem varied throughout the Kingdom Hearts series, and Raiden in the latest Mortal Kombat installment. Classically, he represented the iconic character Jigen in much of the English translation of Lupin III. What a guy!

Alright folks, audition information for all of the shows at METROCON 2012 is now officially available.
Character lists and audition dates have been announced for the Anime Human Chess Match, Fantasy Masquerade, METRO Star Party, METRO Fire Show, GGX: Gear Grappling Xtreme, and the BRAND NEW Rhythm City Chronicles. Auditions for all of the shows this year will be held at MOSI in Tampa at 10:00am and 2:00 pm, Saturday January 14th and Sunday January 22nd. You only need to be there for one of those time slots.

For those of you interested in purchasing your tickets in advance, Registration for VIP and regular Weekend Passes will once again open on New Years Day, January 1st, 2012 at 12:00 AM. Ring in the new year and then jump online to get your tickets at the lowest possible prices!
